we all know & love supermodel, chanel iman. well her mom, china robinson, is equally beautiful & on her grind. mama iman is opening a clothing boutique in culver city, california called the red bag boutique. i can't wait for my next trip to cali. one more boutique to add to my list of fabo boutiques on the west siiiiiiide!

alice + olivia designer, stacey eisner, has teamed up with mac cosmetics to create a limited edition color cosmetics collection that will hit stores july 8th. deep purple, turquoise, & electric yellow are the dominant colors of the line.

omg i don't know if i'm just having "one of those days that a girl goes through" or if i'm just really in touch with my feminine side today. either way, i'm cuddled up on my couch with my macbook, wrapped in a down comforter, doggie curled up by my side, & tv on lifetime.......huh? i never watch lifetime, but today i'm hooked. then i come across something that truly warms my heart. grab your tissue because this is a tear jerker. my mother's clothes: an album of memoirs, written by jeannette montgomery barron, is a visual homage to her mother's wardrobe. her mother, elanor montgomery atuk, was married to the heir to the coca cola bottling company & was known for her tremendous style. when her mother was diagnosed with alzheimer's disease, jeannette started shooting pieces from her mother's closet as a way to bring back memories. this is a book i must own!
