crazy cool japa-mani in 3d...
i have fallen in mad love with japanese 3d nail art! i love anything dealing with fashion that has that "WTF?!" wow factor. valley nails nyc hooks my 10 little babies up when i want to stray away from the everyday solid color manicure & opt for head turning art. if you want to give this a try, be ready to sit for a while for your mani because everything is hand painted & skillfully done. perfect for halloween or just because! spice up your life!!!

trick in these treats...
halloween during a recession forced me to dig through my closet & pull together a costume for this year's festivities. i started with the shoes & chose my sky scraping patent leather, "after dark love," sex kittens.
yes yes yall - they are stripper boots!!!!!!! i've decided to be a punk bride this year, & i will def share pics once it all comes together. i have an infatuation with the stripper style lace up boot for fall & will be wearing these babies with every kind of skinny jean, dress, & skirt i can get my hands on. flirt! flirt! flirt with fantasy & fashion in so many different styles!!!!!

on a buying trip as the trend forecaster for nos boutique, located in dumbo brooklyn, i stepped foot into an accessories showroom that changed my life one earring, necklace, ring, & handbag at a time. my mouth immediately hit the floor as i looked around - personally & professionally wanting every single piece of the "made her think" line. jewelry designer & owner, meredith kahn, introduced herself with a warm handshake & smile that was so welcoming, & immediate confirmation of her sweet nature. once the entire line of jewelry & handbags was reviewed, i had trouble choosing the hottest trending pieces for nos. the whoooole line was to die for! celebrities flock to meredith's "made her think" collections for that edgy punk glam look. fly girl rihanna loves "made her think" pieces & is rocking the chained 5 finger double ring & diamond cuff bracelets on the cover of her new album, rated r. geeeez i loooove this collection!
