designer catherine malandrino has teamed up with singer mary j. blige on a t-shirt collection that strives to send messages of empowerment to the ladies. their label, ffawn + catherine malandrino, features off the shoulder tunics of hand painted messages that read "i'm power" & "i'm free." the collection is set to hit bloomingdale's stores february 17th with a percentage of all sales benefiting mary j. blige's foundation, ffawn (foundation for the achievement of women now). catherine is not just a designer putting her stamp on a tee as a collabo with mary, she actually serves on the board of directors for the foundation & offered to create the t-shirt collection to celebrate being a woman, being strong, & being free. i'm really feeling this duo! if you will be in nyc next week.....maybe for fashion week.....& you would like to get a tee on the 17th, mary j. blige & cathering malandrino will be at the 59th street bloomingdale's greeting customers & speaking about the foundation .
* sonia rykiel does h&m again...
this past holiday season we saw a super cute lingerie collabo that sonia rykiel did with h&m, & now they are teaming up for a knitwear collection to hit stores february 20th. i'm loving the color palette & the rag doll inspiration. the models have sonia's bushy red hair & i loooove that!
