my alma mater, the fashion institute of technology, put on a fashion show dedicated to japanese fashion, & i wanted to share the recap video with you guys. japanese fashion is totally edgy & sometimes a bit much due to the frills & kid like inspiration, but fashion is all about self expression & pushing the envelope. fashion is an art, & the japanese are like picasso! i totally dig it!!
this is one of my favorite coffee table reads & a source of inspiration from hair styles, to pattern mixing of outfits, & the japanese fashion scene in general. one day i promise i will make it to japan to experience it all firsthand! domo arigato!!
