* shepard fairey - obey x levi's...
propaganda artist shepard fairey is teaming up with levi's denim to design a capsule of t-shirts, denim, & jean jackets that will incorporate his artwork. shepard is known for his street art, as well as the iconic barack obama "hope" poster during last year's election. created in partnership with his clothing line, obey, the levi's capsule collection will be available in select levi's stores beginning october 29th. i'm definitely in line for a tee!

omg i can't stand it!!!!!!!! although as a child every barbie my mother tried to buy me ended up with her hair chopped off, head popped off, or still in the box, this venture to celebrate the 50th anniversary of barbie has me wanting to be a little girl again....a girly girl this time around as opposed to a tomboy :~}. christian louboutin is set to design 3 barbie's that will each come with mini louboutin boxes for her shoes.

this month prada will launch a collection of t-shirts for men & women called jwp epicenter. each tee will be the blueprint of prada's stores in tokyo, beverly hills, new york, london, and milan.
* diane von furstenburg's "journey of a dress" in moscow...
who wouldn't want to travel to russia's red square...especially now that diane von furstenburg will run an exhibition across 6,000 square feet of the manezh exhibition hall? housing the designer's personal artifacts & 50 dresses for her first retrospective, "you basically travel through my life in 35 years," said the designer. the exhibition will be curated by andre' leon talley & will run through november 21st.
